BISOAIRSTREAM® IS.CHIMNEY – Standard chimney for regular fireplaces
The three-layered chimney system with a lightweight outer shell
The three-shell construction consists of a lightweight concrete outer shell, a mineral wool insulation and a ceramic inner tube. The BISOAIRSTREAM® IS.CHIMNEY is a standard chimney suitable for standard furnaces with high exhaust gas temperatures. This includes solid fuel-burning appliances such as fireplaces and stoves with a flue gas temperature up to 400 °C. The heat source should provide an exhaust gas temperature of at least 150 °C.
The BISOAIRSTREAM® IS.CHIMNEY is a non moisture-resistant exhaust system and thus not suitable for the operation of condensing heat exchangers. It is soot fire resistant and does not corrode. Due to the refractory made inner tube and the thermal insulation of mineral wool it provides a high thermal shock resistance and high heat storage capacity.
The BISOAIRSTREAM® IS.CHIMNEY is a very economical system that is suitable only for dry gas operation. For the connection of modern, efficient heating appliances, we recommend our other products from the BISOAIRSTREAM® series. Furthermore, BISOAIRSTREAM® IS.CHIMNEY in the double- layered pipe mantel fitting are always able to be combined with the other BISOAIRSTREAM® products.

Application areas
- Three-walled chimney system with a lightweight concrete outer shell, mineral wool insulation and ceramic inner tube made of fire clay, therefore suitable for subsequent mounting on the outside wall.
- Suitable only for furnaces with high exhaust temperatures - Exhaust temperature range: 150 °C to 400 °C (only dry operation).
- All fuel types can be used: gas, oil or wood and other solid fuels.
