SLIP-EX^® is an environmentally friendly natural grit without salt, that combines excellent product properties that provide economic advantages.

Commodity
SLIP-EX^® is made from the ecological excellent raw material expanded silicate. It is a purely mineral Winter grit, which gives back to nature after its use.

Applications areas
SLIP-EX^® is suitable for both municipal large-scale operations as well as for scattering onto private roads and driveways. The applications are diverse, which include roads, cycle tracks and footpaths, parking lots and many more.

Application
SLIP-EX^® can be scattered by hand or by machine. For the use of SLIP-EX^® there are no temperature restrictions unlike for salts, because it acts independent of temperature.

SLIP-EX^® Benefits

• Immediately effective
  SLIP-EX^® quickly dulls the surface so that it can be used right after slippery conditions take hold. With its low bulk density of about 260-310 g/liter SLIP-EX^® is extremely easy to handle.

  In snow and icy conditions a 25 liters bag of SLIP-EX^® covers up to 900 m² of snow-cleared area due to its high yield. It is extremely effective and reduces the use of grit considerably.
  
  
• Non-hazardous
  No impairment or endangerment for animals, plants and the environment. There is no need for street cleaning after the usage because it does not cause any damage to water drainage systems and does not pollute the ground water or kill roadside fauna.
  
  
• Gentile
  SLIP-EX^® is made out of a special dry expanded silicate base and leaves no scratches on floor coverings such as terrazzo or marble slabs. It causes no rust on vehicles.
  
  
• Ecological
  Due to its water-storing and ground aerating properties SLIP-EX^® also has soil improving effects.
  Because of these properties RUTSCH-EX^® was awarded the Eco-label “THE BLUE ANGEL"
  (by: RAL German Institute for Quality Assurance and Labeling, a registered association).
